What do you think are some of the most important priorities for a successful corporation?
Authentic leadership is every bit as much in the trenches as it is at the pinnacle. Leaders create, articulate and passionately own a vision and are willing to take calculated risks to turn that vision into a reality - through good and bad times in a corporation. In life, work, love and everything you do - the key to being empowered by your decisions is to not only calculate the assymetrical risk but to fully accept the risk.
I believe as an entrepreneur, by definition you create products and services under conditions of extreme uncertainty during times of worry, anxiety, instability or unprecedented times and build a sustainable business that will test each element of a shared vision.
It is the responsibility of an entrepreneur to identify an issue before it transitions into a potential crisis, turn ideas into executed products or services that will generate revenue, measure how consumers or customers will respond and choose to pivot or persevere.

What advice would you offer to someone who wants to achieve something similar?
As technology, Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain enhance in development, the progress that is offered also provides an opportunity to control more of what you have and know or be controlled through centralization. Learning every day is key, as Web3 is continually evolving.”
“Don’t confuse POSITION with PURPOSE. We are not here to IMPRESS others; we are here to IMPACT them. We attract what we need in order to grow and evolve - so learn from failures and celebrate small wins along the way. Accept where you are in this moment and trust the process and timing of your life, while being passionately committed and grateful for where you are going. The journey of discovering your life’s purpose is often not from over-thinking it, but from living it and discovering your purpose, by accident. So, find something you are passionate about, challenge yourself, seek mentors and take the risks and the steps necessary to learn and evolve daily. The best is yet to come.
What is the secret to your success?
There is no other home built the same way you are built. The complexities of our human experience is only one that we hold the key to on our path of self-discovery, personal growth and search for meaning and purpose. It’s important to master your mind, or your mind will master you. I believe the secret to my grit is based on the foundation of passion, perseverance as well as aligning my actions to my inner purpose and meaning personally, spiritually and professionally. I believe in cultivating a growth mindset, owning your power and embracing the intersection of evolving your self-knowledge while strengthening your emotional intelligence to make decisions that are based on authenticity and will add value to your personal development, soul and propel you to continue to move forward in your truth - naturally inspiring others to take action to do the same.
Today and every day, dare to be different. Do one thing every day that both scares and challenges you. Be to people the way you want them to be to you and others. Do the kinds of things you want to see flourish everywhere in the world. The pursuit of fulfilling your greatness is not a part-time thing. It’s fully daring to step outside of your comfort zone and make sacrifices that may be uncomfortable at first, but with massive, determined action - it can open doors to limitless opportunities.
Tell us how you got into the Crypto space and what attracted you to the industry?
I heard about Bitcoin and the “Satoshi Nakamoto” white paper in 2008; however, there wasn’t enough information, peers, or mentors I knew who were in it to learn more at the time. It wasn’t until I fell in love with a computer programmer years later at the start of the pandemic, who taught me about crypto, proposed to me and told me we wouldn’t get married until Bitcoin hit $100K - until I became more invested and wanted to learn more.
What should you consider before buying a cryptocurrency?

“Don’t even think about being in the Web3 space unless you prioritize safety, security and understand the risks associated with the potential rewards.
Prior to buying a cryptocurrency, one must understand the jurisdiction you bank with and reside in and learn the laws, “Compendium of Country-by-Country Crypto Regulations”, tax regulations and any other guidelines surrounding cryptocurrency as each jurisdiction and country has different laws. If you are ever unsure, consult a professional accountant or one who specializes in taxes.
Secondly, do your research - it’s important to research the website of the prospective token of interest, read their whitepaper (free from spelling errors, no red flags, effective goals and strategies and how they will achieve them, solid tokenomics, etc.) , find out who is on the leadership team (do research online, find them on social media and follow them, see if there are any red flags or a history of anything concerning); evaluate the cryptocurrency’s market metrics, follow the news online related to world events, emerging tech and crypto news and have a clear investment and exit strategy and pivot as you need to; study the price history and any former or upcoming projects or tokens linked to it; determine whether it has utility; and if you want to purchase on a centralized or decentralized platform and the transactions fees and risks associated with it.
These are just some of the many things I look at, but I mostly suggest that you attend events and conferences and meet these individuals, their developers and team members and trust your intuition about what feels right for you.
Safety and security are key. Ensure you are only using a computer, programs and storing your crypto on hardware and cold wallets/ledgers that are secure to protect you when doing payment validation.”
Why did you decide to start a business in this industry?
It’s an emerging industry that is revolutionizing finance and the internet as we know it. As more organizations recognize the benefits of Web3, we can expect an increase in investment, innovation, development and eventually the way we work and live.
What methods do you use to promote your business?
As an entrepreneur it’s important to search for opportunities and options, understand the potential cash flows and probabilities, extend the life of the options or opportunities by running low-cost experiments that will provide the highest value of returns and testing assumptions based on an analysis while recruiting a great team with a shared vision and maintaining authentic leadership. Everyone on the team is part of the brand. What they stand for is a reflection of their leader and should speak for itself when promoting the business.
What are your career aspirations within the company?
I believe that as Web3 increases its direction towards the path of mass adoption - I hope to see more individuals - especially women and people of all colour help strengthen the political, economic and technological advancement of Web3 by encouraging more financial literacy, collaboration and helping create more innovative opportunities in the space.
What motivates you at work?
I love how challenging yet rewarding it is. Excelling in volatile markets is great practice for when day-to-day events happen in my personal life - because I learn how to overcome, persevere, adapt and thrive every day with a new opportunity to grow and it makes me more resilient.
How would you describe your motivation levels?
Patience, grit, focus and truth are key. I believe hope, strength and success are cultivated one day and step at a time.
Heroes or mentors:
My heroes and mentors are those who are driven by leaving a legacy and impact, while giving all glory and gratitude to God. When you remind yourself that you were curated, crafted and designed by the Master Architect of the universe and the Creator of all living things - then you can be certain that because your life is a gift, you start receiving the gift when you unwrap each layer of your purpose, each day at a time.
What is one thing that any woman or businessperson in the crypto industry can start doing today to solidify her path to success?
There is a wage gap, because there is a mindset gap. It’s our minds that prevent us from believing we are equals. It’s not about intelligence or lack of equal opportunities but rather mindset - because our attitude is our aptitude and essentially our altitude. We must all shift our mindset to believe that there are no true problems, only opportunities for solutions. We hold the paintbrush of our imagination, our vision and the life we desire in our hands to create the masterpiece of the life we dream of.
“The future of Web3 is gender and racially inclusive. We live in an era where we all have equal rights and access to attain financial freedom. The world needs blockchain now more than ever. It helps solve the debt crisis, and creates a stronger competitive advantage for all genders- because it doesn’t care which gender you are. It creates opportunities for all. It creates more opportunities for businesses by offering an alternative to unstable currencies and is the best hedge against inflation. We are definitely on the fast track to incorporating cryptocurrency payments as part of more business models and the way employees will be paid in the near future as the next generation of the financial ecosystem and tokenization evolves.
Who do you admire in the modeling industry?
Coco Rocha’s poses, GiGi Hadid’s Aura, Cindy Crawford’s trademark (I have the same one on my face), Paris Hilton’s entrepreneurial spirit, branding and advocacy, and Izabel Goulart’s aspiring “Body By Iza” workouts. In fact, I admire her so much, I worked with her photographer she shoots with: Kitana Photography - who also shot me for this magazine.
Fashion icons in your opinion?
Audrey Hepburn, Coco Chanel, Bridgitte Bardot and the best fashion influencer I’ve followed for close to a decade is Leonie Hanne.
How did you get your start in modeling?
Once I graduated high school, I was acting and modeling to help pay for my college and university expenses for almost a decade. My first experience was when I signed a contract to model and do some film work in China and Japan while studying online for the first year of my post-secondary. It was during the several months I lived overseas where I truly transitioned from a girl to a woman and learned so much about myself. It made me truly realize that ‘your brand is your DNA’.
Having a service or product is not enough to truly have a competitive edge in whatever industry you are in. Only by combining traditional/modern approaches as well as cosmetic/therapeutic approaches can brands truly reflect the core values and mission of an organization.
Most often the success rate of a brand is closely tied to how emotionally in tune a brand is with its customers, evolving trends and landscapes to help shape attitudes, opinions and change behaviors.”

Where do you find the inspiration for your blog posts?
I am inspired by Ellen G White - since I was a child - she has been the inspiration behind my beliefs on the value of health and longevity, my faith in God and how to live the most beautiful life on earth that will echo in eternity.
When is the best time to share fashion advice with readers?
Season changes; before major events and holidays; and sales seasons are the most comment but to me, there is no “best” time - because we now live in a world where there is wearable tech, the Metaverse and virtual fashion shows with NFTs - so every day is a good day in fashion to Carte Blanche.
