Leorosa and Super Yaya Team Up on a Playful Knitwear Collection
October 2022
The traditional fashion schedule may have been completely upended over the past two years, but if there’s one thing you can rely on to arrive at the same time each year it’s fashion’s fall/winter campaigns. Each summer, like clockwork, luxury houses start to unveil their cinematic ads featuring top models and Hollywood’s A-listers, often both at the same time. Early out of the gate this year was Prada’s men’s campaign starring Jeff Goldblum, Damson Idris, and Rami Malek photographed by David Sims and juxtaposed with still life portraits of the actors’ personal items. Sims would go on to apply a similar creative direction to Prada’s womenswear campaign starring Hunter Schafer and Kendall Jenner. Some brands’ ads have not only welcomed the upcoming season, but also doubled as announcements: Louis Vuitton dubbed Cate Blanchett its latest brand ambassador, while COS enlisted Natasha Lyonne to tease its upcoming New York Fashion Week debut. Check back here often as we track the latest surprise stars and eye-catching images of the fall/winter 2022 season.
Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner Match In Leather Jackets On Play Date
October 2022
On Thursday, October 20, celebrity couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner attended the opening night of Suzan Lori-Parks’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play Topdog/Underdog on Broadway at The Golden Theater. The couple have been out and about a bit more since the birth of their second child this summer, and they’ve been looking ever the happy couple on their date nights.
Jonas was dressed in a black leather coat over black slacks and a pair of patent leather loafers in white and black with gold designs across the toe. Turner wore a two-piece cognac skirt and crop top, with a warm brown leather jacket on top and a few chains for accessories
They were also seen last weekend at the Academy Museum gala. Their looks for that fundraiser were far edgier, but shared a similar color story. Jonas was all in black and Turner in shades of reddish brown and tan.
Topdog/Underdog was originally produced off-Broadway in 2001 before moving the next year to the Ambassador Theatre. Parks won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for the show in 2002.
The story follows two brothers, Lincoln and Booth, who depend on one another for survival after being abandoned by their parents as teenagers. The story shows them in their thirties still struggling to find a way out of poverty, and still struggling with a difficult sibling dynamic where one feels all the responsibility and the other feels held back. This production stars Corey Hawkins and Yahya Abdul-Mateen ll.
Lady Gaga Wears a Slippery Satin Midi Dress Designed By Her Sister
October 2022
On Thursday, Lady Gaga kept it in the family. The off-the-shoulder black midi dress to host a Dom Perignon event at Sheats Goldstein Residence in Los Angeles was a costume design from Topo Studio. That happens to be the label fronted by Natali Germanotta, the singer’s younger sister. Germanotta also designed several of the stage outfits Gaga wore during her recent Chromatica Ball tour.
The plunging neckline definitely draws the eye, but Gaga also made sure to show off her leather gloves as they met the sleeves of her gown. Under the dress, she had on ripped fishnet tights and a pair of Pleaser boots. She wore a diamond Chaumet necklace on a short chain.
Though, the makeup really brought the look together with extremely pale foundation, bleached brows, and heavily lined lids. She had on a coral lip stain, and her blonde hair was pulled back into a bun with two spiky tendrils by her face and her roots on display.
October 2022
Fashion drew me into the modeling industry. When I was younger I dreamed of being a model and now I'm enjoying the success of my work, Modeling really appealed to me because I could do all those things.

Your profession?
My profession as a model continuously teaches me to be positive and to be confident in who I am. There’s only one ‘you’, and you can’t be anyone else but yourself.

Which brands do you want to work with?
I would really love to work with Chanel. I feel like the brand is so prestigious and boujie, coming from street couture I honestly think it’s one of the best brands. I would also like to work with Versace because the brand has very sassy vibes, similar to my walk.

What is beauty to you?
To me, beauty means accepting and loving who you are. It means acknowledging and loving what might be unconventional and imperfect in the eyes of society.

Success to you?
Success means achieving every goal I set and being in the best position to help others do the same.
November 2022
Chiara Pasetto is much more than a Milanese 'girl'. Always friendly, warm and fun, she is very honest and open about her life as a model and actress in all major fashion events such as fashion weeks and film projects around the world.

How did you get your start in modelling?
I started modelling when I was 18 in Milan, scouted by my first agency called “the fashion model
management” through some portraits I had taken with couple of photographers for fun, an agent
saw it and ask me for an appointment. I went to the agency and they signed me immediately.
Inside myself I always felt that I belonged to this world and wanted to be a model and an actress,
I grow with the passion of acting and I studied 3 years in Teather and 1 year at Lamda in London.
I’m now represented by Elite model world, metropolitan in Paris and State in the USA for
“modelling side” and Takeoff Artist management for “actress” side.

Marion Cotillard and many many more .

How would you describe your style?
I’m not sure about my style, i am just myself
If I have to choose one sentence that can possibly describe my “style” it would be : Less is more.
I understood that the key is to be natural and always be kind and confident, even with only a
white t-shirt the style will come automatically. For me is not about dresses, it comes first from

confidence, that elegance that is timeless.

the result at home. I love the fact that gave me the chance to travel the world and meeting so

me the energy for every job.

the light what italy and Milano’s market can offer to the young generation.

Whats a talent your most proud of?
I would say perseverance, if I have to reach something nothing will stop me doesn’t matter how
long it takes. And that I’m a piano player, I studied it for many years when I was little, not so
many people know it.

An Explosion of Creativity: Tommy
Hilfiger x Richard Quinn
November 2022
Upon entering the show space, we walked along a wall full of graffiti and collages of artists, musicians, red/blue spray marks and Tommy Hilfiger monograms. Inside, the interior was covered in tin foil adding to the atmosphere of creativity. Models having their makeup done, press waiting around, the band doing sound check, an open workshop with live silver screen printing, shirts being autographed and portraits of guests being taken, printed as posters and quickly glued on the wall. An ode to Warhol’s famous Factory, the collection’s presentation was an immersive space with so much for your eyes to take in. But it wasn’t just a physical space, the show also stepped into the metaverse through a QR code where you can download the artworks as unique NFTs and roam around a Roblox style landscape.
Among the chaos, Tommy Hilfiger and Richard Quinn sit smiling. We met with the to talk more about the collection presentation.
SLEEK: Let’s start with the collection’s title, “Factory”. Andy Warhol’s Factory is the epitome of how art can be a collaborative process as opposed to centring around the ego of a single artist. Can you share with us your first memory of visiting the Factory and what that taught you about creating collaboratively?
Tommy Hilfiger: When I visited Andy’s Factory in the Eighties there was a lot going on, he had a movie being filmed in one part of the building, he had a rock band practising in another, there were celebrities from Hollywood and the music world coming in and out, he was painting canvases, he was doing polaroids of different pop culture icon. It was a multidisciplinary and multimedia environment that traversed fields, from fashion to art to music to entertainment to celebrities and pop culture.
S: How did you two meet and how did the idea for the collaboration come about?
Richard Quinn: Tommy saw some work we did at the British Fashion Award for Kylie Minogue and her dancers, then someone threw a party and we all met there. We started talking and it all came together very naturally.
S: This collaboration takes inspiration from the past with reference to Warhol’s Factory, while also projecting the brand into the future, by streaming the show in the metaverse and the creation of NFT garments. What do each of you think will be the opportunities for these new phygital (physical + digital) garments?
TH: I think it’s only the beginning, the metaverse is already here, many people are living and playing online every day. Video games play a very important role in our modern society, and there are many shopping video games. In this particular one in Roblox you can pick your avatar and dress the avatar in Tommy digital skins, but also buy the physical garment off the runway.
S: Does this also support your “See now buy now” approach (the clothes presented in the runway are available to buy this season, not for the upcoming one)?
TH: Yes. I think fashion going forward will have to compress its waiting time to keep up with a digital world of consumers.
S: And for you Richard, since print and patterns are a big part of your style, do you see a possibility to experiment on them in new ways on digital garments, making use of these new technologies?
RQ: Yes, I think the opportunity of getting the digital and physical garment creates a new world of possibilities. Designing a print that can work on cloth but also has the potential to be animated or implemented in digital creates a very modern challenge.
S: And what about the possibility of consumers not wanting the physical garment any more? In a world where everyone is wearing AR goggles, we could walk around wearing only our digital outfits. Not only that, but we could potentially be seen wearing something different depending on who is looking at us and the device they are using. Does this scenario worry you?
TH: This technology exists today, it’s not even the future. I think that human beings will always want to have some sort of material on our body, because of comfort, because of warmth among a number of other reasons. I don’t think that will ever change, it’s a very primordial need. We’ll always need food, we’ll always need fashion.
S: We also need fashion as a tool for expressing our identity. Tommy Hilifger recently went through a rebranding with the new monogram. What does it mean to change your logo, do you see this as a clean cut from the past or is it just a natural evolution of the brand?
TH: I think it refreshes the identity. We don’t abandon our flag, we don’t abandon who we are and what we stand for, we just refresh and project ourselves to the new era.
S: And to you Richard, your iconic daisy patterns also underwent a transformation, from a very naturalistic and realistic image to a more geometric stylised. Is this also an effect of this collaboration?
RQ: Yes, I think they are really graphic and they go very well with the monogram and the colour scheme. Also the campaign and NFT roll-out was the fruit of a collaboration, and for me the nice thing about it was doing one part of it and then passing it on and seeing what the next artist does with it and where it ends up.
The technologies might have changed, but the multidisciplinary spirit of Andy Warhol’s
