An inspiring true story.
Hi Anastasia , could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?
My name is Anastasia Tverdokhlibova.
I am professional model from Ukraine.
I started traveling around the world since I was 16. It helped me to grow up as a person and as a professional.
Besides I have a lot of different hobbies.
I fall in love in extreme! I am doing roller and ice skating, skiing, snowboarding since my childhood. I always ready for new experience and am not afraid of any difficulties.
How did you get your start in modelling?
This is really funny story! I have never think that I can be a model or that I am beautiful. But my dad talked about this all the time.
I didn’t trust in his words and I thought that he said it only because I am his lovely daughter. At the same time a lot of modeling agencies were texting me and saying the same thing... Luckily one day I was approached by my current agent and the founder of Liasmodels.
Liana who came to my hometown Odessa from Kiev to introduce herself and the agency and told me about the possibility of developing and building a modeling career.
I should say that I started believing in myself exactly because of Liana ....We started building my career together and i feel that it was completely right decision to become part of Lias Models.
What inspires you most in your work?
People! During all my work I have met a lot of different and creative professionals. In my mind Modeling it is about people basically.
We can see how the world has changed by watching story of fashion. It is so important for me to be a part of our modern fashion story. I always feel an amazing energy on Shootings and it makes me feel happy and on a right place.
What motivates you in your achievements?
I have a big dream. I am dreaming that once I will have a chance to try become an actress. And I feel that modeling is a good way to start.
I like to be in front of the camera and if I won’t doing my best every time, what is the point?
The most important rule in my life is “be better than you was yesterday”.
So i am always trying to be at my best and ensure the best possible outcome on every shooting. When I feel tired a can always speak to my family, friends or my agent Liana and get I big motivation and power for continuing my work.
To be on trend with fashion today you must have?
If you want to be on trend you should have you strong and unique personality.
The time when it was enough to be just beautiful is gone. Now fashion need interesting and powerful opinion leaders.
Favorite designers?
I am really respect to all Ukrainian designers. In this hard time all around the world Ukrainians continue to show theirs talents. They are showing our pain und our power using fashion language.
There are a lot of creative people who have what to say and they doing this. I am proud of all this people.
Fashion icons in your opinion?
I haven’t icons and I never had.
I think we should stop looking for icons. Do you best and be your icon. You don’t need to be like or look like someone, found you own way and let’s go!.
What talent are you most proud of?
I am able to acquire new skills really quickly. It is always easy to me learn something new if ireally want it. And I have no fear to get a new experience.
Being a famous model what makes you special?
I decided that the best way to understand this to ask my agent Liana. We working together more than 4 years and here is her answer on this Question:
“Anastasia do not consider urself or anyone you meet special and don’t even try to be special.
On the other hand know how preciously unique you are both physically and internally. Your strength is in ur honesty and authenticity , child like approach to everything, opened mind and heart , your willingness to grow and develop constantly learn and express yourself in different ways .. You are like precious diamond that gets shinier and more beautiful with time.”
When is the best time to share fashion advice with readers?
Fashion it is not only about clothes it is also about the person who wear this clothes.
Be yourself, don’t be shy, be smart and have your own opinion. Be the person that has what to say to this world. I am very glad that now it is fashionable to be an “Human”.
If you know how you are look inside it will not be difficult to choose how to look outside.
