Tell us part of your success story?

My “Success Story” officially begins at the beginning of 2021, when I got a job at the news program of the national television in Serbia called B92, and after years of working there, I continued my career at Arena Sport and Euronews Serbia. From this moment on, my work was opened to the public. However, if I scratch this surface, I realize that my path to success actually started much earlier.

I knew from a young age that I wanted to do public work and I always worked for that purpose. My big turning point in life happened when I founded my online magazine, which featured a large number of experts in the fields of beauty, health and sports. For the sake of the site, I was in the service of a presenter and realized that this call was for me. That’s when my training as a professional presenter began.

Hi Nina.Z, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?

Hello SS magazine, I will give you two answers to this question. Observing me from the public, I am an established and relatively new presenter on the stage who is building her way through the world of sports and public speaking. While on the other hand, I see myself as a young, normal and ambitious girl who makes the most of her quality, the moment and seizes the opportunities presented.

Constantly open to continuous improvement. Especially when it comes to work.

Tell us about your family and how proud they are of you?

I am lucky that my family has always believed in me, and they know that even as a child I was quite hardworking and even boring when I put my mind to something. They are proud, of course, but they are not at all surprised.

How would you describe your personality as an a sports presenter?

I wouldn’t call myself a classic sports journalist, or a classic presenter, like the ones the audience is used to. In my performances, I strive to be more professional and positive, I like improvised and spontaneous

work in front of the cameras but within limits. The same audience can expect an increasingly innovative approach from me, while I see the company I work for as a big family, so I see that whatever I can do, I do it for its benefit.

What makes you stand out from other other TV presenters?

Honestly, I could not name many things that stand out from my colleagues, because there are really great ones in this profession, I strive to always bring only positive energy from the small screen, do my job as best as possible, and all I can add is that my quality I attribute it only to work and practice.

What motivates you in your achievements?

The fact that wishes come true. When you believe and work on them. It motivates me and makes me grateful. Every small victory gives me the strength to continue, even if it’s on a daily basis.

What made you want to become a presenter?

That little voice inside that we often know to cover up. Even as a child, I knew that I wanted to do public speaking. Unfortunately, through studies and later jobs, I neglected that little voice by listening to the environment, but when I went back to that path listening to it, it’s amazing how happy I was and how fast I actually progressed in the profession I love. I always knew I have something to offer the audience.

What talent are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the qualities that serve me as a person, to be the best and most satisfied version of myself. Talents or skills such as: social intelligence, focus, diligence, and penetration, as well as natural optimism are something that have helped me the most in work and life in general.

What do you think are the biggest challenges you face when presenting?

Two hundred percent concentration. I think any of my colleagues can confirm that. One thought that flies through your head and is not in the service of the current topic can ruin a public performance and kill concentration.

How do you deal with nerves when presenting?

Luckily my stage fright has gone along with my modeling career so as a presenter I don’t have much of it.

Joking aside, I don’t have a lot of stage fright as a presenter, but I could probably attribute it to good preparation, experience, and the interesting thing is that if you imagine you’re talking to a person while looking at the camera, you won’t even feel stage fright. And the camera really knows how to show every

detail. Every fear, every insecurity. Nervousness is quite a normal thing, you just need to know that even when a mistake happens, continue as if it never happened.

What do you think are the key skills necessary for a successful presenter?

Exactly what I just stated, you should not have the feeling that you are addressing the audience, because when you have that awareness and only a few years of experience, mistakes often happen. It is good to be spontaneous, aware of your movements and most importantly, control your voice. Self-confidence comes from knowing that you are doing well, which again precedes the original work on yourself.

What do you think is the best way to engage your audience when presenting?

By releasing your personality, with a smile, a positive attitude and of course a job well done. In sports journalism, I would add emotion as an important factor in presentation.

What do you think are the most important things to remember when preparing for and giving a presentation?

Detailed preparation is one of the most important factors when you are in front of a camera or an audience. How you reach your audience is another significant influence, while the emotion you leave with them is what they will remember forever. If you manage to complete everything, consider yourself an excellent speaker. Is not easy.
