MODELING SUCCESS STORIES - Caryle Cochrane

I’m Caryle Cochrane,

I am thirty-three years old, from the Philippines. I reflect a diverse personality including ambition, kindness, and generosity. I am also a determined and motivated individual, yet pleasantly calm.

I encourage fighting for what you desire and believe in doing it through God because nothing great comes easy.

I am a full-time healthcare manager but I find plenty of time for my passion for modeling. I am motivated by my love of helping others and my love of fashion as I strive to become an outstanding and successful woman.

Through my passion for modeling,I have embraced a fanatical interest in fashion which has given me the opportunity to participate in photoshoots, be on magazine covers, and appear on billboards. I have been collaborating with local photographers and clothing brands. It is a fulfilling passion for me when I’m working with different kinds of individuals and experiencing diverse cultures.

In addition to the above, I have kept a keen interest in art and traveling. I travel for modeling and leisure, but most importantly, for spending time with my friends and loved ones.

I came to reside here in San Francisco over seven years ago. In my free time, I do yoga and exercise that keep me mentally and physically healthy. I love to explore the world and I love good cuisine.

Tell us part of your success story?

Believing in my ability to fulfill my dreams and goals is already a success for me. Living in San Francisco I am away from almost all of my family but it keeps me motivated to work and strive harder to be a successful independent woman. If one were to be asked if they want to succeed in

life, I think the most common answer would be ”Why not?” That is my answer as well, “Why not?’ In simpler terms, success is the achievement of your values. Values are the things you act to gain or keep. For some people, success means achieving whatever they dream. For me, I have identified what I value in lifeand I work towards it. I never regret failing in my life. If I don’t succeed the first time, I stay positive and continue to try hard to achieve success. There is a motto that I remember which I try to live by, “failures are the pillars of success.”

How did you get your start in modeling?

Six years ago I was discovered in Westfield Mall here in San Francisco by a hair stylist. He asked me to model his brand from Dubai which was a curling iron brand. That day, I was posted on various social media platforms and on his own company website. Using social media was a huge influence for me in modeling.

As a result, photographers, influencers, magazines, and local brands started to reach out and ask if I could work or collaborate with them.

Tell us about your latest project?

My latest project was collaborations with Macy’s and with Cynthia Apps Photography. This has been a good project for all of us and for Cynthia to create her own photography brand. Working with Macy’s is very easy and very rewarding. I love their clothes and styles for fashion for this generation. They are very relevant to this era of fashion style and I’m constantly impressed.

What inspires you most in your work?

My daily work in health-care. What inspires me the most are my patients and colleagues who really help people. I have created a family with them. It is so good to work in a healthy environment where you feel appreciated.

In the modeling world, what inspires me is to create my own style and individuality. I think I have a style that can make an impact on people and creates my own fashion statement.

To be on Trend with Fashion today you must have?

Your own style, which means you know how to carry a style that you own. Be different. Our trends now can seem like they came from back in the 80’s and 90’s but we have to make them our own. Some of this young generation seem to view that being on Trend means that you need to be the same as some celebrity or copy the style of a model online. However, being on Trend with Fashion means making your own way and being your own person.

Favorite desingners?

First on my list is Michael Cinco, a Filipino designer based in Dubai. His designs for me are one of a kind.Second, Chanel by Coco Chanel is always very timely for me. Third, Hermés - a very expensive yet classy brand.

Fashion icons in you opinion?

I’d have to pick Lady Gaga. She really has made her own style and always stands out. She creates world class styles that can be trendy.Being famous model what makes, you special?

I don’t think I am famous like other models around the world but I would say that what makes me special is that I do stay true to my own values. I feel special when someone recognizes something fromme that they appreciate or find meaning in.

What talent are you most proud of?

I love to Dance. I used to be a dancer when I was In high school and college and I used to compete at different schools. Dancing has always been part of my life.

Touched?

I am grateful for all my achievements in life whether for work or in my personal life.

I am touched and thankful that SSMAGAZINEGLOBAL wants me to be part of their article issue. It always feels good to be accepted and appreciated.
