Chiara Pasetto is much more than a Milanese 'girl'. Always friendly, warm and fun, she is very honest and open about her life as a model and actress in all major fashion events such as fashion weeks and film projects around the world.
How did you get your start in modelling?
I started modelling when I was 18 in Milan, scouted by my first agency called “the fashion model management” through some portraits I had taken with couple of photographers for fun, an agent saw it and ask me for an appointment. I went to the agency and they signed me immediately. Inside myself I always felt that I belonged to this world and wanted to be a model and an actress, I grow with the passion of acting and I studied 3 years in Teather and 1 year at Lamda in London. I’m now represented by Elite model world, metropolitan in Paris and State in the USA for “modelling side” and Takeoff Artist management for “actress” side.
Greatest Inspirations or Influences mode?
Many inspiration ! Too many incredible figures in the past years that made the history to choose only one, the beauty of art is everywhere: From the iconic Audrey Hepburn for her timeless beauty and elegance, to the super model Linda Evangelista, the art of Peter Lindbergh, Newton, Avedon and the magic of Spielberg, Fellini, Tarantino and the eternal beauty of Sophia loren, Monica Bellucci, Keira Knightley, Julia roberts, Marion Cotillard and many many more .
How would you describe your style?
I’m not sure about my style, i am just myself If I have to choose one sentence that can possibly describe my “style” it would be : Less is more. I understood that the key is to be natural and always be kind and confident, even with only a white t-shirt the style will come automatically. For me is not about dresses, it comes first from yourself. Ah yes and also Elegant but I mean the elegance that starts from the body posture and confidence, that elegance that is timeless.
Favorite designers?
My favourite designers are Yves saint Laurent, Armani, Chanel, Louis Vuitton.
Fashion icons in your opinion?
Fashion icons: princess diana, Kate moss, Jennifer aniston, Winona ryder, Courtney cox, Brad pitt, Di carpio, David bowie, Jeff goldblum, Nicolas cage .
What do you like most and least about your job?
I like everything about my job, even with crazy call time, endless hours of work and tons of flights. Nothing exist anymore (in cinema and fashion also) when I’m doing my job, the weather condition/sickness/tiredness, show must go on under any circumstances and we have to bring the result at home. I love the fact that gave me the chance to travel the world and meeting so many people. Maybe the unpredictability is one difficult thing to manage but it is also what give me the energy for every job.
What does well being mean to you Chiara?
Well being for me is : Health, Love and family. When I have these to keep my back, I can think and focus about my job and career that is what I love to do.
What are some of the responsibilities that come along with being considered an " it girl" in Milano?
I’m proud to be an Italian girl based in italy. I feel home wherever I go and I’m happy to be able to do my job in my home country. The main responsibility is to keep going on and bring in to the light what italy and Milano’s market can offer to the young generation.
Whats a talent your most proud of?
I would say perseverance, if I have to reach something nothing will stop me doesn’t matter how long it takes. And that I’m a piano player, I studied it for many years when I was little, not so many people know it.
